On wednesday, it was service learning day. (My sch even printed a banner to tell everyone that. -.- ) the whole sch's suppose to do cip on that day. so there were no lessons. anyway, my class went to assissi home and hospice. and guess who i saw there. the hokkien mee uncle from kcp :( i thought: hwa that man looks kinda familiar. then realization hit me, and i wanted to go talk to him. but i this other resident was talking to me so i thought it'll be quite rude to run away to hokkien mee uncle. he was much paler and his eyes sunken, i felt so sad for him.. less than 2 yrs ago he was still happily(i guess) frying hokkien mee and now he's on a wheelchair, too weak/sad to join us in games and activities. i wanted to tell him how wondeful his hokkien mee was ( altho i dont rem eating from his stall v often :x) but he went upstairs to those private rooms, so i couldnt. we'll be going back in august. hope i get to see him then.. cancer really sucks. Remember to tell the stall holders in your sch how much u love their food kay.
